Brandon Crawford presented Olive School representatives with a check for the “Step up to the Plate” grant sponsored by Wells Fargo and KNBR. The grant will be used for an awards ceremony to celebrate student achievement and to recognize parent & teacher involvement at Olive Elementary.

Olive students were honored in a celebration for English learners who have been reclassified as Fluent English Proficient. Congratulations!
Olive second grade students raised $350 by selling hot chocolate and cookies as part of a project-based learning unit that focused on learning about animals and money. The funds raised were donated to the Marin Humane Society.
Olive students participated in the Art Smart Showcase sponsored by School Fuel. The student’s art was on display at Northbay ArtWorks on the weekend of March 24-25. The art work will next be on display at the District Office.
On Friday, February 2, Olive students participated in the national Global School Play Day. Throughout the day, students enjoyed playing with non-electronic toys in an unstructured, supervised environment.
