We are so grateful for the parents and family members who give their time to volunteer at Olive. Whether you are helping in the classroom, joining us on a field trip, or supporting one of our school events, your time makes a real difference. We truly could not do all that we do for our students without our amazing volunteers!
All volunteers will now be required to watch a mandated reporter training as part of the volunteer requirements. Please see the infographic below for more information about the steps needed to become a NUSD volunteer.
For elementary school parents who plan to attend a field trip, fingerprinting is required. The good news is that you only need to be fingerprinted once during your child's time in NUSD. For parents who still need to complete this requirement, Olive PTA hosts Live Scan events at the beginning of each school year.
Please remember that parents may not volunteer until all volunteer requirements have been completed. Thank you for taking the time to complete these steps and, most importantly, for giving your time and energy to our students. We appreciate you!
