Olive students participated in the Art Smart Showcase sponsored by School Fuel. The student’s art was on display at Northbay ArtWorks on the weekend of March 23-24. The artwork will next be on display at the Novato Unified District Office.
Olive 5th graders worked with Ane Rovetta and created fabulous artwork of indigenous species. The 5th graders will visit the Buck Center in Hamilton Place in March to view their installed artwork and read the poems they wrote about their indigenous species.
Brandon Crawford presented Olive School representatives with a check for the “Step up to the Plate” grant sponsored by Wells Fargo and KNBR. The grant will be used for an awards ceremony to celebrate student achievement and to recognize parent & teacher involvement at Olive Elementary.

Olive students were honored in a celebration for English learners who have been reclassified as Fluent English Proficient. Congratulations!
Olive second grade students raised $350 by selling hot chocolate and cookies as part of a project-based learning unit that focused on learning about animals and money. The funds raised were donated to the Marin Humane Society.

Congratulations to all the participants and finalists in the Olive School Novel Knowledge competition. Olive students did an excellent job reading and studying six different novels and answering many challenging questions in the final rounds of the competition. The winning team this year is "Frosty the Snowman"!
